Prospathоume: Contemporary Greek Comedy Across Cyprus
When: Saturday, 10 October 2026 at 8:00 pm
Where: Multiple Venues, Nicosia
About this event
"We're Trying" (Prospathоume) is a contemporary comedy touring Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol in October 2026. Written and performed by Irini Salata and Evros Vasiliou, it takes a warm and witty look at the deeply personal journey of IVF and parenthood. The production is rated 16+ and is performed entirely in Greek.
What to expect
The story follows a young couple going through in vitro fertilisation, fast-forwarding through what life looks like with a child in the home and then through the teenage years, asking what changes and who they become along the way. A modern comedy shining a light on a topic that is both universal and rarely spoken about openly, it explores how life, and people, change when they pursue something that cannot simply be bought.
