Water cuts in Limassol: how to read this page

The water supply of Limassol and its district is run by the District Local Government Organisation of Limassol, which took over from the Water Board of Limassol in 2024. When a pipe bursts or a main has to be repaired, the organisation announces which streets are without water and, for most, the time it expects the supply to return.

This page gathers those notices: today's at the top, with each street and its expected time, and the previous days below. It covers the Limassol district only, because the organisations of the other districts do not publish a list like this.

Where do the water cut notices come from?

From the "Faults and scheduled interruptions" page of the District Local Government Organisation of Limassol. Cyprus Atlas reads it twice an hour and shows each notice with a link to the original.

Why is there no water in my street?

If your street is listed, there is a fault on the network there and the organisation is repairing it. If it is not listed, the problem may be inside your building (the tank, the pump or a closed valve) or may not have been announced yet: call the organisation.

When will the water come back?

Each street shows the time the organisation expects the supply to return. It is an estimate: a difficult repair can take longer.

Does this cover Nicosia, Larnaca or Paphos?

No. Only the Limassol district has a public list of water cuts that can be shown here. For the other districts, contact the district organisation or your municipality.

Who do I call about a water fault in Limassol?

The District Local Government Organisation of Limassol, on 25 271000.

Why are the notices in Greek?

The organisation publishes the street names in Greek, as on the street signs. They are shown as written so that no name is changed.
