Good to know
Public buses in Cyprus are run by a different operator in each district: Cyprus Public Transport in Nicosia and Larnaca, EMEL in Limassol, OSYPA in Paphos and OSEA in the Famagusta district (Ayia Napa, Protaras, Paralimni). Intercity Buses link the towns, and there are routes to Larnaca and Paphos airports.
This page works from the stop: type the name of a stop or a street, or let the page find the stops near you, and it shows which buses leave from there today and tomorrow, with the route number and where each bus is going.
Source: the open data of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works (motionbuscard.org.cy). Times are the published timetable, not the live position of a bus.
From the timetables that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works publishes as open data for every bus operator in Cyprus. Cyprus Atlas loads them regularly and shows them stop by stop.
No. They are the scheduled times. A bus can be a few minutes late in traffic. The operators' own apps show live positions for some routes.
Type part of the stop's name or of the street it is on, in Latin letters as on the sign, or press "Stops near me" and allow the page to use your location. The page remembers the stop you looked at last.
Fares are set by the Ministry and are the same in every district: a single ticket bought on the bus costs more than one paid with a motion bus card, and there are daily, weekly and monthly passes. Check the current fares at motionbuscard.org.cy.
Yes. Local and intercity routes serve both airports. Search for "Airport" to find the airport stops and their departures.
Yes, with fewer departures. The page shows the timetable of the actual day, so a Sunday or a holiday shows the reduced service.
