About this event
WIP Festival 2026: Flows is a 10-day Arts & Technology Festival in Nicosia, running 16–25 October 2026 at CYENS Centre of Excellence. Now in its 5th edition, WIP brings together artists, creative technologists, researchers and audiences from across Cyprus and the world for 10 days of art, technology, performances, workshops, talks and unexpected encounters.
The theme of this edition is "Flows" — an exploration of the visible and invisible movements that shape our world. From water and energy to data, culture, memory and collective dynamics, the festival invites us to see the world as a series of entangled streams constantly shifting form, direction and intensity. The festival sees the world as a set of interconnected flows of matter, energy, data and imagination that are constantly transforming.
WIP 2026 is also positioned as a key cultural and technological event on the European stage, aligning with the European Presidency of Cyprus. Rooted in Nicosia's creative scene and open to international voices, the festival is a unique platform where art meets technology at the crossroads of the Mediterranean. Organised by CYENS Centre of Excellence, WIP is a point of reference for creative technology in the eastern Mediterranean.
