Reporting illegal content
- Every listing, review, post, article, product, property and classified ad has a "Report" link. No account is needed.
- You can also email us: say exactly where the content is (the web address), why you believe it is illegal or breaks our rules, and, if you like, your name and email address so we can tell you what we decided.
- We send a receipt, a person looks at every report, and we tell you the decision when you gave an email address.
How content is checked
- Content posted by others is checked before it appears: by fixed rules in our code (for example forbidden items, links and the occupied areas), by an automatic review that uses an AI language model, and, whenever there is doubt, by a person.
- When we refuse or remove something, the person who posted it is told the reason on their own page or by email.
- Anyone whose content we refused or removed can appeal. A person, not an automatic system, looks at the case again and emails the decision. You may also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the courts.
