Security guards in Cyprus

Security guards provide a visible presence to deter unauthorised activity and respond to incidents at premises, events, or construction sites. Duties may include access control, patrols, monitoring, and reporting. Guards may be static, mobile, or assigned to specific roles such as concierge or reception. When arranging services, consider licensing, training, insurance, and whether guards are directly employed or subcontracted. Clarify shift patterns, uniform standards, and escalation procedures. Some providers offer additional services like key holding or alarm response. Confirm the scope of duties and any legal requirements before finalising an agreement.
