The Kalaydjian Rest Home for the Elderly is run by the Kalaydjian Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic organisation set up in 1984. The home opened in March 1988 in Nicosia and was built by brothers Bedros and Aram Kalaydjian in memory of their parents Roupen and Marie. After a renovation and extension in 2005, it has 22 rooms with private bathrooms and capacity for 40 people.
